Montecucco Rosso D.O.C., Poggio Trevvalle:

A round, soft and pleasing wine. It is made from Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes that grow in the vines planted on the north facing side of Poggio Trevvalle, where the soil is sandy with clay banks. It is a well structured and full bodied wine, with aromas of blackberry, blackcurrant and balsamic notes that lead into a long, sweet and spicy finish.
